बीजापुर। भोपालपटनम में नेटवर्क चालू करने को लेकर ग्रामीणों ने चक्काजाम किया जिसका समर्थन ज़िला कांग्रेस कमेटी ने भी किया और प्रशासन से माँग की जल्द से जल्द भोपालपटनम क्षेत्र में मोबाइल नेटवर्क को ठीक किया जाये, भोपालपटनम में मोबाइल नेटवर्क के टावर तो हैं पर नेटवर्क का दूर-दूर तक नामो निशान नही है जिससे ग़ुस्साए लोगों ने आज भोपालपटनम नगर को बंद रखा और क्षेत्र में तत्काल मोबाइल नेटवर्क को चालू करने की माँग किए। अब लोग ये भी कह रहे है की पिछले दिनो भाजपा व डॉ. रमन सिंह ने विकास यात्रा के दौरान भोपालपटनम क्षेत्र को नेटवर्क से जोड़ने का वादा किया था पर भाजपा का वादा केवल जुमला ही साबित हो रहा है। कांग्रेस ने भी भाजपा को आड़े हाथों लेते आरोप लगाया कि भाजपा के लोग केवल भाषण देने में माहिर है जब काम करने की बारी आती है तो जुमला था कह कर अपने वादों से मुखर जाती है। इसी बीच कांग्रेस ने दस में नेटवर्क को ठीक करने को कहा जिसे भोपाल पटनम के तहसीलदार ने दस दिन में ठीक करने का आश्वासन भी दिया।
धरना प्रदर्शन के दौरान ज़िला कांग्रेस कमेटी के अध्यक्ष विक्रम मण्डावी, शंकर कुडियाम, लालू राठौर, हुखमी खत्री, जगबन्धु मांझी, कमलेश कारम, पुरुषोत्तम सल्लूर, सुखदेव नाग, वीरेंद्र ठाकुर, लक्ष्मण कड़ती, बब्बू राठी, सालिक नागवंसी, वलवा मदनैया, रमेश पामभोई, के जी सत्यम, मो अनीस खान के अलावा बड़ी संख्या में कांग्रेसी कार्यकर्ता, नगर वासी व ग्रामीण सम्मिलित हुए।
