दंतेवाड़ा। छत्तीसगढ़ विधानसभा चुनाव से पूर्व जारी भाजपा के प्रत्याशियों की सूची के बाद भाजपा के नेता और जिला पंचायत सदस्य ‘चैतराम अटामि’ ने दन्तेवाड़ा विधानसभा क्षेत्र से टिकट न मिलने पर नाराज़गी जाहिर करते हुए निर्दलीय चुनाव लड़ने की घोषणा कर दी। चैतराम ने पार्टी पर वादाखिलाफी का आरोप लगाते हुये कहा कि विगत दिनों लीक हुई पर्यवेक्षकों को सौंपी गुप्त चिट्ठी भी एक षड्यंत्र के तहत प्लांट की गई थी ताकि उनकी छवि को नुकसान पहुंचाया जा सके। पार्टी के कार्यकर्ताओं में अंदरूनी तौर पर नाराजगी साफ नज़र आ रही है। अटामी का कहना है कि पार्टी ने उनकी और कार्यकर्ताओं की अनदेखी की, इसलिए वे विवश होकर निर्दलीय चुनाव लड़ रहे हैं।

ज्ञात हो कि चैतराम अटामि के निर्दलीय चुनाव लड़ने से भारतीय जनता पार्टी को भारी नुकसान की आशंका से इनकार नहीं किया जा सकता है। चूंकि अटामि भाजपा से जिला पंचायत सदस्य के पद पर पदस्थ हैं, इस बीच उनके द्वारा निर्दलीय चुनाव लडने के निर्णय से भाजपा के वोट बैंक पर गाज गिरने की संभावना बढ़ जाती है। यही वजह है कि चैतराम अटामि के निर्दलीय चुनाव लड़ने की घोषणा सुन भाजपा में हड़कंप मचा हुआ है। भाजपा के जिला-अध्यक्ष अभिमन्यु सोनी सहित कई वरिष्ठ भाजपाई अटामि के घर पर डेरा लगा कर बैठ गए हैं। जहां अटामि को मनाने की कोशिश की जा रही है।
