नारायणपुर। पुलिस महानिरीक्षक बस्तर रेंज विवेकानंद सिन्हा, उप पुलिस महानिरीक्षक कांकेर रेंज, टी.आर. पैकरा, पुलिस अधीक्षक नारायणपुर जितेन्द्र शुक्ल, एएसपी अनिल सोनी के निर्देशन में डीआरजी, जिला बल, छसबल, एसटीएफ, आईटीबीपी बल द्वारा लगातार नक्सल विरोधी अभियान का संचालन किया जा रहा है।

पुलिस द्वारा चलाये जा रहे नक्सल विरोधी अभियान के कारण नक्सलियों पर बढ़ते दबाव एवं शासन की पुनर्वास नीति से प्रभावित होकर जिला नारायणपुर में पूर्व बस्तर डिवीजन क्षेत्रांतर्गत अमदईघाटी एरिया कमेटी केएएमएस अध्यक्ष (एसीएम) सहित कुल 03 नक्सली सदस्यों द्वारा माओवादी संगठन को छोड़कर समाज के मुख्यधारा में सम्मिलित होने हेतु पुलिस महानिरीक्षक बस्तर रेंज विवेकानंद सिन्हा व पुलिस अधीक्षक जितेन्द्र शुक्ल के समक्ष नारायणपुर में आत्मसमर्पण किया।
