जगदलपुर। विधानसभा चुनाव के पहले चरण के लिए कांग्रेस पार्टी ने अपने 12 उम्मीदवारों की पहली सूची जारी कर दी है। छत्तीसगढ़ में सरकार बनाने हेतु बस्तर की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका होती है। इस बात से भली-भांति परिचित कांग्रेस ने बस्तर के पुराने चेहरों पर ही भरोसा जताते हुए गुरूवार को बस्तर की 12 सीटों पर प्रत्यशियों के नामों का ऐलान कर दिया है।
ज्ञात हो कि विधानसभा चुनाव के पहले चरण में बस्तर के अलावा राजनांदगांव के 6 सीटों पर भी 12 नवंबर को मतदान होना है। ये सभी सीटें लगभग नक्सल नक्सल प्रभावित हैं। इन क्षेत्रों में मतदान शांतिपूर्ण ढंग से संपन्न कराना निर्वाचन आयोग के लिए भी बड़ी चुनौती साबित होगी। गौरतलब है कि 7 विधायकों पर कांग्रेस ने इस बार भी भरोसा जताया है। मात्र कांकेर से विधायक शंकर धुर्वा की जगह पूर्व आईएएस शिशुपाल सोरी को उम्मीदवार बनाया गया है।
छत्तीसगढ़ कांग्रेस इस बार सत्ता पर काबिज होने एड़ी-चोटी का जोर लगा रही है। ऐसे में बस्तर की 12 सीटों पर बेहतर प्रदर्शन किए बिना इस लक्ष्य को पूरा कर पाना भी संभव नहीं है। दरअसल, पिछले चुनाव में बस्तर की 12 में से 8 सीटों पर कांग्रेसी विधायक जीतकर आए थे। इसके बावजूद पार्टी बहुमत के आंकड़े को जुटा पाने में नाकाम रही। इन नतीजों पर कहीं ना कहीं जाति समीकरण का भरपूर असर हुआ था, यह कहना अतिश्योक्ति नहीं होगा। इस बार कांग्रेस द्वारा लगभग सारे पुराने, प्रतिष्ठित चेहरों पर दांव खेलना कांग्रेस की कोई नयी रणनीति को दर्शाता है।
