जगदलपुर। शहर के मध्य स्थित नया बस स्टैंड में मंगलवार देर रात्रि तकरीबन 10:30 बजे उस वक़्त सनसनी फैल गयी, जब एक युवक की संदेहास्पद परिस्थितियों बस स्टैंड परिसर में सोते वक्त मौत हो गयी। इस घटना के दौरान यात्रियों और आगंतुकों ने उक्त मृत युवक को गहरी नींद में सोया हुआ सोचा, परन्तु जब काफी देर तक युवक की कोई हलचल नहीं दिखी तो परिसर में दहशत व हंगामा खड़ा हो गया।
प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों व स्थानीय लोगों के अनुसार, मंगलवार की सुबह उक्त युवक बस स्टैंड के भीतर स्थित एक होटल में रुकने आया था, पर उसके पास कोई पहचान पत्र नहीं होने की वजह से वहां से लौट गया। जिसके बाद देर शाम फिर वह युवक बस स्टैंड में दिखा और उस वक़्त से ही युवक की स्थिति गंभीर लगने की बात की जा रही थी। रात्रि लगभग दस बजकर तीस मिनट पर वह थोड़ा छटपटाया, जिसके बाद 108 एम्बुलेंस मौके पर पहुंची और कुछ देर पश्चात उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया गया था।
घटनास्थल पर पहुंचे बोधघाट थाना प्रभारी धनंजय सिन्हा ने बताया कि अब तक उक्त मृत युवक की शिनाख्त नहीं हो पायी है। आसपास के लोगों ने बताया कि मृत्यु पूर्व उक्त युवक बालोद में रहने की बात कह रहा था। प्रथम दृष्टया युवक के मृत्यु का कारण पैर में घाव होना अथवा हृदयघात होना बताया जा रहा है। बहरहाल, बोधघाट पुलिस द्वारा मर्ग कायम कर मामले के जांच की प्रक्रिया शुरू की चुकी है
