बीजापुर। हिमालयीन ग्रिफिन (गिद्ध) सर्दियों के मौसम में अपने प्राकृतिक परिवेश बस्तर में दस्तक देते हैं। बीजापुर के ये रहवासी पक्षी आज विलुप्ति की कगार पर हैं। बीजापुर में विश्व गिद्ध जागरूकता दिवस में दिए गए संरक्षित,सुरक्षित करने के उपाय ।

बीजापुर में विश्व गिद्ध जागरूकता दिवस का आयोजन छत्तीशगढ़ में एक मात्र बीजापुर में कार्यशाला आयोजित की गई थी। जिसमे इन पक्षियों को इनके नैसर्गिक परिवेश में संरक्षित,सुरक्षित करने के उपायों के बारे में जानकारी दी गई।

अगर हालात इसी तरह से रहे तो आने वाले समय में गिद्ध विलुप्त हो जाएंगे। यह बातें बर्ड काउंट इंडिया के परियोजना सहयोगी रवि नायडू ने अंतरराष्ट्रीय गिद्ध जागरूकता दिवस के मौके पर कही।

बीजापुर में यह पहला अवसर था जब गिद्ध जागरूकता पर इस तरह की कार्यशाला आयोजित की गई थी। इस दौरान सामान्य वन मंडल एवं आईटीआर के रेंज स्तर अधिकारियों से लेकर अमले के सभी कर्मचारी उपस्थित थे। श्री नायडू ने बताया कि भारत में व्हाइट, बैक्ड, ग्रिफ, यूरेशियन और स्लैंडर प्रजाति के गिद्ध पाये जाते हैं। इनके संरक्षण के लिए विश्वभर में सितम्बर माह के प्रथम शनिवार को अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर अंतरराष्ट्रीय गिद्ध जागरूकता दिवस मनाया जाता है। इसकी शुरूआत वर्ष 2009 से अफ्रीकन देशो से हुई जिसका मुख्य उद्देशय विलुप्त होते गिद्धों का संरक्षण करना है। कार्यशाला के दौरान श्री नायडू ने यूरेशियन गिद्ध से जुड़ी एक महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बताया कि हिमालय की तराई में पाया जाने वाला यूरेशियन गिद्ध जिसे ग्रिफाॅन वल्चर के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, सर्दियों के मौसम में बस्तर संभाग का बीजापुर जिला इसकी षरणस्थली बन जाती है। ये दुर्लभ प्रजाति का गिद्ध है, जो हिमालय की तराई में पाए जाते हैं। श्री नायडू के मुताबिक सर्दियों की शुरूआत के साथ हिम अच्छादित इलाकों में जब तापमान में गिरावट आने के साथ इनका पलायन भी शुरू हो जाता है। मौसम के अनुकूल प्रवास के उद्देश्य से ये गिद्ध देश के कुछ हिस्सों की तरफ रूख करते हैं। जिनमें बीजापुर भी शामिल है। उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि पूरे भारतवर्ष में पाई जाने वाली पक्षियों की विभिन्न प्रजातियों में अकेले बस्तर में पक्षियों की 315 प्रजातियां मौजूद है। इनमें से 159 प्रजातियांे का बीजापुर के सघन वन क्षेत्र में नैसर्गिक रहवास भी है। श्री नायडू के मुताबिक छत्तसीगढ़ का बस्तर पक्षियों के रहवास के लिए आदर्श स्थल है।

भौगोलिक रूप में पश्चिम और पूर्वी घाट के मध्य बस्तर एक काॅरिडोर की तरह है, जिसकेे चलते यहां पक्षियों की 365 प्रजातियां यह पाई जाती है और इसमें दिलचस्प बात यह है कि लगभग 150 प्रजातियां यहां रहवासी है। इस तरह भारतवर्ष में पश्चिम बंगाल के बाद छत्तीसगढ़ का बस्तर पक्षियों के रहवास के लिहाज से आदर्श स्थल का सूचक है। हालांकि बस्तर में पाई जाने वाली पक्षियों की विभिन्न प्रजातियों पर, जो दुर्लभ प्राय है उन पर गहन शोध की आवष्यकता है।

उपसंचालक इंद्रवती टाइगर रिज़र्व एम के चौधरी ने cgtimes.in की टीम को बताया कि गायों को दी जाने वाली ऑक्सीटोन की दवा बीजापुर में गिद्धों की मौत का मुख्य कारण है साथ ही खेतो में इस्तेमाल की जाने वाली उर्वकर भी बस्तर में गिद्धों की विलुप्ति का मुख्य कारण है। बस्तर में पाई जाने वाली पक्षियों की 365 में 159 दुर्लभ प्रजातियां भी मौजूद हैं
विश्व गिद्ध जागरूकता दिवस पर पक्षियों की प्रजातियों पर पहली बार हुई कार्यशाला बीजापुर में आयोजित की गई है।
