बीजापुर। जिले के नक्सल प्रभावित क्षेत्र बीजापुर-गंगालुर मार्ग पर रेड्डी चौक में सीआरपीएफ के 85 बटालियन के जवानों ने 10 किलोग्राम का आईडी बरामद किया। बरामद कुकर में बारूद लगाकर नक्सलियों ने आईईडी लगा रखा था। जिससे कि नक्सली किसी बड़ी घटना को अंजाम देने की फिराक में थे, लेंकिन जवानों की मुस्तैदी से फिर एक बार नक्सलियों के मंसूबे पर पानी फिर गया।
बता दें कि सीआरपीएफ की बीडीएस टीम ने गश्त के दौरान यह आईईड़ी बम बरामद किया था। जिसे घटना स्थल पर ही ब्लास्ट का नष्ट कर दिया गया। सीआरपीएफ के 85 बटालियन के कमांडेंट सुधीर कुमार ने घटना की पुष्टि की।
