नारायणपुर। नक्सल प्रभावित जिले के पं. जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय के कक्षा-7वीं के छात्र ‘भूपेन्द्र नाग’ का अंडर-14 आयु वर्ग में फुटबॉल के लिए राष्ट्रीय-स्तर पर चयन किया गया है। जिसे पूरे जिले व प्रदेश के लिए गौरवपूर्ण माना जा रहा है। अत्यंत नक्सल पीड़ित क्षेत्र होने के बावजूद भी यहां के प्रतिभाओं का कोई तोड़ नहीं है। जिले के छात्र-छात्राओं में हुनर के साथ-साथ ऐसी उत्साह का होना ही इन्हे सही दिशा देकर, इन्हें राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर अपना व देश का नाम रौशन करने का मौका देता है।
अंड़र-14 वर्ग के राष्ट्रीय फुटबॉल की टीम में चयन होने पर स्थानीय विधायक व छत्तीसगढ़ शासन में स्कूली शिक्षा मंत्री केदार कश्यप ने ‘भूपेंद्र नाग’ को शुभकामनाएं दी व इस उपलब्धि पर बहुत गौरवान्वित अनुभव करने की बात कही।
