सुकमा। कलेक्टर जय प्रकाश मौर्य के निर्देशानुसार जिले के खाद्य अधिकारी, गणेश कुमार कुर्रे ने जिले में अवैंध धान परिवहन और भंडारण की रोकथाम के लिए टीम का गठन किया है। इस टीम में खाद्य विभाग, मंडी एवं राजस्व विभाग के अधिकारी कर्मचारी शामिल हैं। पिछले दिनों गठित टीम द्वारा पडौसी ओडीसा राज्य से धान के अवैध परिवहन और भंडारण की सूचना मिलने पर जिले के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों से लगभग 1000 क्विंटल से अधिक धान जप्त की गई हैं।
इसमें तोंगपाल से 450 बोरी धान लगभग 250 क्विंटल, धान जो ट्रक के माध्यम से अवैध परिवहन करते हुए पकड़ा गया। तोंगपाल से ही 50 बोरी लगभग 25 क्विंटल, धान जो पिकअप के माध्यम से धान की अवैध परिवहन करते हुए पकड़ा गया। सुकमा से 48 बोरी लगभग 20 क्विंटल धान जिसे ट्रेक्टर के माध्यम से अवैध परिवहन करते हुए पकड़ा गया। कस्तुरी से 625 बोरी लगभग 312 क्विंटल धान ग्राम पंचायत गंजेनार के कस्तुरी में अवैध रूप से भंडारित किया गया था जिसे पकड़ा गया। किकिरपाल से पांच सौ बोरी लगभग 250 क्विंटल धान अवैध रूप से भंडारित किया गया था जिसे पकड़ा गया। इसी तरह से पुसपाल में 320 बोरी लगभग 160 क्विंटल धान जो अवैध रूप से भंड़ारित किया गया था जिसे पकड़ा गया है। जिला खाद्य अधिकारी श्री कुर्रे ने बताया हैं कि जिले में अवैध धान के परिवहन एवं भंडारण के विरूद्ध लगातार कार्यवाही जारी हैं।
