दन्तेवाड़ा। जिले के इन्द्रावती नदी पार का आदिवासी गांव कौशलनार से 50 वर्षीय बुजुर्ग महिला किंडो बाई हफ़्तों से दन्तेवाड़ा जिला अस्पताल में ईलाज के लिए पहुँची हुई थी। शाररिक कमजोरी की वजह से शरीर मे रक्त की कमी होने से डॉक्टरों ने बुजुर्ग महिला के परिजनों से 2 यूनिट ए पाजेटिव रक्त की आवश्यकता भर्ती महिला के लिए की मगर परिजन अंदरूनी इलाके में होने की वजह से रक्त की व्यवस्था करना मुश्किल हो रहा था। लेकिन अस्पताल में एडमिट महिला का बेटा भटकते हुए रक्त की तलाश में दन्तेवाड़ा बस स्टैंड में पहुँच गया।
जहाँ उनकी ब्लड की तलाश को सुनकर दन्तेवाड़ा के एक निजी चैनल पत्रकार वेद प्रकाश संगम ने खुद से सुनकर तुरंत महिला के परिजनों को अपने साथ लेकर रक्तदान करने पहुँच गये। जहाँ महिला को रक्तदान किया। इधर परिजन ने रक्तदान के बाद दन्तेवाड़ा बस स्टैंड पत्रकार के ऑफिस में पहुँचकर धन्यवाद दिया। समय पर पत्रकार की मदद से बुजुर्ग महिला को रक्त मिला। इससे पहले भी संगम ने वक्त रहते नीलावाया मुठभेड़ में घायल जवान को समय पर रक्त देकर जान बचाई थी। और दुबारा फिर मानवीयता का परिचय देते हुए महिला की मदद की।
