जगदलपुर। यूनाइटेड एम्चोर म्यूथाई एसोशिएशन एवं आल आसाम एम्चोर म्यूथाई एसोशिएशन के तत्वावधान में दिनांक 24 मई से 28 मई 2019 तक तपसिय इंडोर स्टेडियम सोनापुर गुवाहाटी असम में राष्ट्रीय स्तरीय म्यूथाई बॉक्सिंग प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। उक्त प्रतियोगिता में छ.ग. प्रदेश की टीम सहित 19 राज्यों की टीम ने भाग लिया। जिसमें जगदलपुर के युवराज सिंह ने छत्तीसगढ़ टीम से 40 से 50 किलो वेट् में गोल्ड मैडल हासिल किया। युवराज मिथिला समाज के राजेन्द्र सिंग के पुत्र हैं।
उक्त प्रतियोगिता में उदघाटन समारोह में मेघालय के एक्स राज्यपाल रंजीत शेखर मुसहरे, म्युथाई बॉक्सिंग के नेशनल अध्यक्ष प्रसन्नजीत सिंघा, उपाध्यक्ष अनुपम मेहता, ट्रेजरार एवं आयोजक राकेश मितई एवं छत्तीसगढ़ म्युथाई संघ के महासचिव अनीश मेमन थे एवं समापन समारोह में मुख्य अतिथि गुवाहाटी कमिश्नर अबुतानी डोले, एवं वरिष्ठ पत्रकार पदमा पतार के सानिध्य में कार्यक्रम सम्पन्न हुआ।
