रायपुर। मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल से यहां उनके निवास कार्यालय में वन मंत्री मोहम्मद अकबर ने मुलाकात कर प्रतीकात्मक वनरोपण निधि के अंतर्गत भारत सरकार से छत्तीसगढ़ को हस्तांतरित 5 हजार 791 करोड़ 71 लाख रूपए की राशि का चेक सौंपा। इस दौरान वन मंत्री ने बताया कि इनमें क्षतिपूर्ति वृक्षारोपण के लिए एक हजार 86 करोड़ 91 लाख रूपए, केचमेंट एरिया ट्रीटमेंट प्लान के लिए 24 करोड़ 49 लाख और एकीकृत वन्यप्राणी प्रबंधन योजना के लिए 302 करोड़ 76 लाख रूपए की राशि शामिल है। इसके अलावा शुद्ध प्रत्याशा मूल्य के मद के अंतर्गत 3 हजार 749 करोड़ 63 लाख रूपए तथा ब्याज मद में 482 करोड़ 91 लाख रूपए की राशि शामिल है। इस राशि से कैम्पा के नियमों के अनुसार क्षतिपूर्ति वृक्षारोपण, वनो के विकास, वनों की उत्पादकता में वृद्धि और वन संरक्षण संबंधी कार्य किए जाएंगे। साथ ही राशि का उपयोग वन्यप्राणी प्रबंधन एवं संरक्षण, भू-जल संरक्षण, जैव विविधता तथा जैव संसाधनों के प्रबंधन और अधोसंरचना विकास आदि कार्यो में किया जाएगा। इस अवसर पर अपर मुख्य सचिव वन श्री आर.पी. मण्डल, प्रधान मुख्य वन संरक्षक श्री राकेश चतुर्वेदी, और मुख्य कार्यपालन अधिकारी कैम्पा श्री व्ही. श्रीनिवास राव उपस्थित थे।
