जगदलपुर। श्री 1008 चंद्र प्रभु जिनालय सोनारपाल में बीती रात चोरों ने ताला तोडक़र दानपेटी पार कर दी। चोरों ने भगवान पाश्र्वनाथ की प्रतिमा को ले जाने की भी कोशिश की, किंतु वे अपने नापाक इरादों में कामयाब नहीं हो पाए।
जैन समाज सोनारपाल के अध्यक्ष कैलाश जैन ने बताया कि उक्त घटना की पुलिस में शिकायत दर्ज करवा दी गयी है। उन्होंने बताया कि पिछले 3 साल से लगातार चोर इस मंदिर की दानपेटी चुराकर ले जा रहे हैं, जिसके आरोपी आज तक नहीं पकड़े गए हैं। श्री जैन ने बताया कि दानपेटी में लगभग 12-15 हजार रूपए थे। उन्होंने बताया चोरों ने भगवान महावीर स्वामी और पाश्र्वनाथ भगवान की पीतल की प्रतिमा चुराने की कोशिश भी की, किंतु वजनी होने के कारण वे सफल नहीं हो पाए।
इधर भानपुरी एसडीओपी निमेष बरैया ने बताया कि मंदिर में लगे सीसीटीवी कैमरे में चोर की तस्वीर कैद हुयी है, किंतु वह धुंधली है, फिर भी चोरों को तलाशने की कोशिश की जा रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि मंदिर में चोरी के आरोपी बख्शे नहीं जाएंगे।
