जगदलपुर। महात्मा गांधी की 150 वीं जयंती के अवसर पर बुधवार 2 अक्टूबर को बस्तर जिले में जिला मुख्यालय से लेकर ग्राम पंचायत स्तर तक अनेक कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया गया। जिला मुख्यालय में कमिश्नर कार्यालय में सभी अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों ने अपने कार्यालय तथा परिसर की साफ-सफाई की। कलेक्टोरेट में सवेरे कलेक्टर डाॅ. अय्याज तम्बोली ने बापू की प्रतिमा पर माल्यार्पण किया और बापू की प्रतिमा के समक्ष सभी अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों को स्वच्छता और जागब बोटर की शपथ दिलाई। सभी अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों ने बापू के प्रिय भजन ‘वैष्णव जन तेरे’ गाया।
कमिश्नर कार्यालय में उपायुक्त श्री बीएस सिदार ने अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों स्वच्छता की शपथ दिलाई। जिला पंचायत कार्यालय परिसर में जिला पंचायत के मुख्य कार्यपालन अधिकारी श्री इन्द्रजीत चन्द्रवाल ने महात्मा गांधी की प्रतिमा पर माल्यार्पण किया और स्वच्छता की शपथ दिलाई। इसी तरह जिले तहसील, जनपद पंचायत कार्यालयों और ग्राम पंचायतों में बापू की याद में कार्यक्रम आयोजित कर उनका पुण्य स्मरण किया गया और ग्रामीणों को स्वच्छता की शपथ दिलाई गई। इसके साथ ही चित्रकोट विधानसभा उप निर्वाचन क्षेत्र की ग्राम पंचायतों में स्वीप ’जागब वोटर ’ कार्यक्रम के तहत मतदाताओं को शतप्रतिशत मतदान की शपथ दिलाई गई।
सायकल रैली का आयोजन
महात्मा गांधी की 150 वीं जयंती के अवसर पर आज जगदलपुर में खेल एवं युवा कल्याण विभाग के तत्वावधान में साईकल रैली निकाली गई। अपर कलेक्टर और नगरनिगम के आयुक्त श्री अरविंद एक्का ने इंदिरा प्रियदर्शनी स्टेडियम से रैली को हरी झण्डी दिखाकर रवाना किया। यह रैली कोर्ट तिराहा, कमिश्नर कार्यालय, चांदनी चैक, हनुमान मंदिर, संजय मार्केट, अग्रसेन चैक, गुरूगोविन्द सिंह चैक होते हुए वापस इंदिरा प्रियदर्शनी स्टेडियम में समाप्त हुई। रैली में बड़ी संख्या में युवाओं ने भाग लिया। रैली में स्वच्छता का संदेश दिया गया।
