जगदलपुर। लंबे इंतज़ार के बाद आखिरकार भारतीय जनता पार्टी बस्तर को जिलाध्यक्ष मिल ही गया। आज देर शाम भाजपा के शीर्ष नेतृत्व ने भाजपा बस्तर की डोर तेर-तर्रार नेतृत्वकर्ता “रूपसिंह मंडावी” को दी है। भाजपा प्रदेश अध्यक्ष “विष्णु देव साय” ने “रूपसिंह मंडावी” को बस्तर जिले का नया जिलाध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया है। इसके पहले सन् 2010 से आज पर्यंत तक ‘रूपसिंह मंडावी’ ने भाजपा जिला बस्तर के महामंत्री के दायित्व का सफल निर्वाहन किया।

भाजपा में भूमिका: सन् 1992 में सक्रिय रूप से भाजपा ज्वाइन किया। साथ ही उन्होंने बताया कि स्व. बलिराम कश्यप जी का कार्य क्षेत्र होने के कारण मैं जन्म से ही भारतीय जनता पार्टी की रीति-नीति सिद्धांतों से प्रेरित होकर मैंने पार्टी के लिये काम किया। 1992 में विधिवत रूप से ज्वाइन होने के बाद आज पर्यंत तक मैं सामान्य कार्यकर्ता के रूप में कार्य कर रहा हूं।
इस दौरान श्री मंडावी भानपुरी मंडल के कमल वाहिनी का संयोजक, भानपुरी मंडल के महामंत्री तथा 2010 में बस्तर जनपद के उपाध्यक्ष भी रहे। सन्-2010 से लगातार आज पर्यंत तक भारतीय जनता पार्टी जिला-बस्तर के महामंत्री के रूप में दायित्व का निर्वाहन कर रहे हैं। भानपुरी वनवासी कल्याण आश्रम के संरक्षक के रूप में कार्य कर रहे हैं। जिसके बाद आज उन्हें भाजपा-बस्तर के जिलाध्यक्ष के रूप में महत्वपूर्ण जिम्मेदारी प्रदेश संगठन द्वारा दी गयी है।
