नारायणपुर। कलेक्टर टोपेश्वर वर्मा शहर के सौंदर्यीकरण पर विशेष ध्यान दे रहे है। इसी सिलसिल में आज सवेरे पुराने बस स्टेण्ड पर किये जा रहे कंक्रीटयुक्त चबूतरें के निर्माण को देखा। उन्होंने नगर पालिका अधिकारी को गुणवत्ता के साथ ही इसके खूबसूरती पर भी विशेष ध्यान देने के निर्देश दिए।
उन्होंने कहा कि यहां पर शाम के समय ज्यादा चहल-पहल होने के कारण ट्रेफिक पर असर पड़ता है। उन्होंने चाट-पकोड़े के ठेलों को व्यवस्थित और सलीके से लगवाने के निर्देश दिए। पुराने बस स्टेण्ड के सौंदर्यीकरण पर लगभग 50 लाख रूपए खर्च किए जा रहे है। इसके साथ ही शहर के अन्य मुख्य स्थानों को चिन्हांकित कर उनका भी सौंदर्यीकरण किया जायेगा। इस अवसर पर नगर पालिका अधिकारी एल.एम. पी. सिंह, सहायक अभियंता लोक निर्माण श्री एफ.टोप्पो, ग्रामीण यांत्रिकी विभागी के ईई श्री एस.सी. साहू उपस्थित थे।
कलेक्टर ने बताया कि कलेक्टर कार्यालय के सामने अम्बेडकर प्रतिमा के पास खाली जगह में खूबसूरत गार्डन, बच्चों के मनोरंजन के लिए झूले, व्यायाम के उपकरण के साथ ही फिसल पट्टी और अन्य तरह के कसरत के उपकरण स्थापित किए जायेंगे। इसके साथ ही आम नागरिक और बच्चों के खाने-पीने के लिए चौपाटी विकसित की जायेगी। इस पर भी लगभग 50 लाख रूपए व्यय किए जायेंगे।
