उक्त स्वाइपिंग मशीन से यातयात के नियमों का पालन न करने वाले वाहन चालकों पर की जाने वाली जुर्माने की राशि अब डेबिट एटीएम कार्ड, चिप एटीएम कार्ड को स्वाइप कर सीधे बैंक के खाते में जमा हो जाएगी, जिसके बाद उसे सीधे पुलिस विभाग में जमा किया जा सकेगा।
पूर्व में कई बार वाहन चालकों के पास जुर्माने की नगद राशि नहीं होने के कारण पुलिस को दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ता रहा है परंतु अब स्वाइपिंग मशीन के उपलब्ध हो जाने से सीधे कैशलेस ट्रांसक्शन किया जा सकेगा।
जगदलपुर के गीदम रोड पर पंडरीपानी के पास आज चलानी कार्यवाही के दौरान स्वाइपिंग मशीन का शुभारंभ अत्तिरिक्त पुलिस अधीक्षक ‘लखन पटले’ के द्वारा एटीएम-कार्ड स्वाइप कर जुर्माने की राशि ली गई।
