बीजापुर। जिला मुख्यालय के संजय पारा तालाब का तटबंध टूटने से तालाब का पानी रिहायसी इलाकों में घुसा। अचानक आई पानी से अफरा-तफरी मच गयी। लोग सुरक्षित स्थान की ओर जान बचाने भागने लगे। खबर मिलते ही नगर पालिका के कर्मचारी और कांग्रेस के जनप्रतिनिधि मौके पर पहुंचे है।
तालाब के नीचे बसे संजयपारा में सुबह करीब 6 बजे अचानक जल संसाधन विभाग की बनाई गई तालाब का तटबंध पानी टूट गया। तटबंध के नीचे के रिहायसी इलाकों में पानी भरने की खबर के बाद अफरा-तफरी मच गई। लोग डरे सहमे घरों से सामान निकालकर जान बचाने भागने लगे। जहां घरों में अचानक आये तालाब के पानी से रोजमर्रा की सामग्री का नुकसान हुआ है। अभी तक किसी के हताहत होने की सूचना नहीं है।
रिहायसी इलाके में पानी घुसने की खबर लगते ही नगर पालिका बीजापुर के कर्मचारी भी संजयपार वार्ड वार्ड पहुंच गए। साथ ही राष्ट्रीय कांग्रेस AICC सदस्य नीना रावतिया ने भी इलाके का मुआयना किया और हरसंभव मदद का भरोसा दिलाया है।
जल संसाधन विभाग की लापरवाही और अनदेखी से बड़ी दुर्घटना घटी है। यदि देर रात तालाब का तटबंध टूट जाता तो तो बड़ी अनहोनी घट सकती थी। समय रहते विभाग इस पर कोई त्वरित कार्यवाही करती तो तटबंध को टूटने से बचाया जा सकता था।
