जगदलपुर। अखिल भारतीय क्षत्रिय महासभा जिला बस्तर जगदलपुर द्वारा महाराणाप्रताप सिंह जी की जयंती लालबाग पर स्थित महाराणाप्रताप सिंह जी की मूर्ति पर माल्यार्पण, पूजा अर्चना कर कार्यक्रम की शुरुवात की गई,, साथ ही साथ समाज के सम्मानीय वरिष्ठजनों का सम्मान श्रीफल व माला पहनाकर किया गया। इस जयंती के अवसर पर हलवा का भी वितरण किया गया।

महाराणाप्रताप सिंह जी का नाम कुँवर प्रताप जी था। उनका जन्म 09 मई 1540 ई.में हुआ। इनका जन्म कुम्भगढ़ राजस्थान में हुआ।इन्होंने हल्दीघाटी का युद्ध किया था। इनके प्रिय घोड़े का नाम चेतक था।महाराणाप्रताप जी का नाम इतिहास में वीरता और दृण प्रण के लिए अमर है।महाराणाप्रताप जी की जयंती विक्रमी संवत कलेंडर के अनुसार प्रतिवर्ष ज्येष्ठ ,शुक्ल पक्ष तृतीया को मनाई जाती है।
इस अवसर पर अखिल भारतीय क्षत्रिय महासभा जिला बस्तर जगदलपुर के समस्त आदरणीय सम्मानीय वरिष्ठ व युवा जन व क्षत्राणी बहने भारी संख्या में उपस्थित थे।
