बीजापुर। पुलिस महानिरीक्षक बस्तर रेंज सुन्दरराज पी. के मार्गदर्शन में उप महानिरीक्षक, केरिपु(ऑप्स) कोमल सिंह, पुलिस अधीक्षक बीजापुर कमलोचन कश्यप, कमांडेंट 229 विवेक भण्डराल के दिशा निर्देशन में चलाये जा रहे माओवादी विरोधी अभियान के तहत थाना उसूर से दिनांक 15.06.2020 को जिला बल एवं केरिपु 229/एफ का संयुक्त बल फुटापल्ली, नड़पल्ली की ओर की ओर माओवादी उन्मूलन/विरोधी अभियान पर रवाना हुये थे।
उक्त अभियान के दौरान दिनांक 15.06.2020 को फुटापल्ली एवं नड़पल्ली के मध्य जंगल से “माओवादी कारम गणपत पिता कारम मुत्ता उम्र 38 वर्ष, जाति दोरला ग्राम पुसबाका, थाना बासागुड़ा जिला बीजापुर” को पकड़ा गया। जो थाना बासागुड़ा क्षेत्रान्तर्गत दिनांक 01.04.2007 के तर्रेम के जंगल में पुलिस के साथ हुए मुठभेड़ एवं दिनांक 3.4.2007 को पुसबाका एवं गुडम के बीच जंगल में पुलिस के साथ मुठभेड़ की घटना में शामिल था। उक्त घटना में दंतेवाड़ा जेल में निरूद्ध माओवादी दिनांक 16.12.2007 को दंतेवाड़ा जेल से फरार हो गया था। इसके अतिरिक्त उक्त माओवादी के खिलाफ थाना बासागुड़ा में पृथक-पृथक 03 स्थाई वारंट भी लंबित थे। गिरफ्तारी के बाद थाना बासागुड़ा में विधिवत कार्यवाही कर दिनांक 16.06.2020 को न्यायालय दंतेवाड़ा में पेश किया गया।
