100 से अधिक मकान होंगे चौड़ीकरण में प्रभावित

जगदलपुर। शहर में वाहनों के बढ़ते दबाव को ध्यान में रखते हुए तत्कालीन कलेक्टर गणेश शंकर मिश्रा के कार्यकाल 2006से 2008 के मध्य जगदलपुर शहर सौंदर्यीकरण का कार्य प्रारंभ किया गया था। इस दौरान शहर की मुख्य सड़कों का चौड़ीकरण लगभग पूरा कर लिया गया था, लेकिन दंतेश्वरी मंदिर से एनएमडीसी रेस्ट हॉऊस तक एवं कोर्ट से बोधघाट तक प्रस्तावित सड़कों के चौड़ीकरण एवं सौंदर्यीकरण का कार्य अधर में अटक गया था। जिसके बाद यह कार्य आज पर्यन्त तक प्रारंभ नहीं हो सका। ईई पीडब्लूडी आरके गुरू के अनुसार कोर्ट से बोधघाट थाना और दंतेश्वरी मंदिर से एनएमडीसी गेस्ट हॉऊस तक सड़क चौड़ीकरण की जायेगी। जिसके लिए बजट स्वीकृत हो चुका है। जल्द ही सर्वे का कार्य पूरा कर सड़क निर्माण शुरू किया जायेगा। सड़क चौड़ीकरण के बाद लोगों को शहर में बढ़ते ट्रैफिक जाम से छुटकारा मिलेगा।

प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार जगदलपुर शहर के व्यस्ततम् सड़कों में से दंतेश्वरी मंदिर से लेकर एनएमडीसी गेस्ट हॉऊस और कोर्ट चौक से लेकर बोधघाट थाना तक सड़क चौड़ीकरण का कार्य जल्द ही प्रारंभ हो जायेगा। सड़क के मध्य से 9.5 – 9.5 तक सड़क चौड़ा करने का प्रस्ताव है। मध्य में 1 मीटर का डिवाईडर होगा अर्थात सड़क के मध्य डिवाईडर से दोनों तरफ 07-07 मीटर की डामरीकृत सड़क लोगों के लिए उपलब्ध होगी। इसके बाद दोनों ओर एक-एक मीटर की नाली बनाई जायेगी। नाली के ऊपर फुटपाथ का निर्माण होगा। फुटपॉथ का उपयोग पैदल चलने वाले राहगिरों के लिए फायदेमंद रहेगा। सड़क चौड़ीकरण में इस बात का विशेष ध्यान रखा जायेगा कि सड़क की ऊंचाई कितनी हो जिससे बारिश का पानी सड़क पर जमा न हो पाये। कोर्ट चौक से लेकर बोधघाट थाने तक 15.93 करोड़ की लागत से 2.45 किमी लंबी सड़क में लगभग 100 से अधिक मकान और दुकान इससे प्रभावित होंगे। वहीं दूसरी ओर दंतेश्वरी मंदिर से एनएमडीसी गेस्टहॉऊस तक 17 करोड़ की लागत से बनने वाले 3.28 किमी तक सड़क चौड़ीकरणमें किसी भी दुकान और मकान प्रभावित नहीं होंगे। प्रस्तावित चौड़ीकरण का कार्य लगभग एक माह के बाद प्रारंभ होने की बात कही जा रही है। जैसे ही सड़क चौड़ीकरण में प्रभावित मकानों एवं दुकानों के सर्वे का कार्य हो जायेगा इसके बाद सड़क चौड़ीकरण का कार्य युद्ध स्तर पर चलने लगेगा। सड़क चौड़ीकरण से शहर में बढ़ते वाहनों के दबाव से लोगों को राहत मिलने की बात कही जा रही है।
