सुकमा। मुख्य सचिव आरपी मंडल छत्तीसगढ़ शासन की महात्वाकांक्षी योजना राम वन गमन पथ को मुर्तरुप देने के लिए आज सुकमा जिले के महत्वपूर्ण धार्मिक स्थल रामाराम पहुंचे। उनके साथ इस अवसर पर संस्कृति विभाग के सचिव श्री पी अन्बलगन, प्रधान मुख्य वन संरक्षक श्री राकेश चतुर्वेदी, श्री संजय शुक्ला, आईजी श्री पी सुंदरराज, कलेक्टर श्री चंदन कुमार सहित वरिष्ठ अधिकारीगण उपस्थित थे।
मुख्य सचिव श्री आरपी मण्डल रामाराम स्थित रामारामीन चीटमीटीन अम्मा देवी के प्राचीन मंदिर का अवलोकन किया। उन्होंने राम वन गमन पथ योजना के शीघ्र क्रियान्वयन के लिए इस महत्वपूर्ण धार्मिक स्थल के सौन्दर्यींकरण सहित आवश्यक सुविधाएं विकसित करने के संबंध में चर्चा की। साथ ही उन्होंने इस जगह को आगाामी दिनों में पर्यटन स्थल के रूप में विकसित करने की बात कही।
कलेक्टर श्री चन्दन कुमार ने रामाराम मंदिर से जुड़ी जानकारियों से अवगत कराते हुए कहा कि रामाराम मंदिर इस क्षेत्र के लोगों में देवी के प्रति गहरी आस्था होने के कारण एक बेहद ही धार्मिक स्थल है। बताया जाता है कि लोगों के मध्य यह मान्यता है कि त्रेतायुग में भगवान श्रीराम अपने वनवास काल के दौरान दक्षिण की तरफ गमन के दौरान रामाराम पहुँचे थे, वर्तमान में यहां मंदिर है। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि रामाराम में प्रतिवर्ष फरवरी माह में भव्य मेला का आयोजन होता है। बस्तर के इंतिहास के अनुसार 608 सालों से यहां मेला आयोजन होता आ रहा है। वहीं सुकमा जमीदार परिवार रियासत काल से यहां पर देवी-देवताओं की पूजा करते आ रहे है। मां रामारामिन की डोली रामाराम के लिए राजवाड़ा से निकलती है। माता की डोली की पूजा नगर में जगह-जगह की जाती हैै। इस उत्सव में आस-पास के देवी-देवताएं भी पहुंचते है। रामाराम मेले के बाद जिले में जगह-जगह मेले का आयोजन किया जाता है।
मान्यता है कि श्री राम ने भू-देवी की आराधना यहां की थी। श्रीराम सांस्कृतिक शोध संस्थान न्यास, नई दिल्ली द्वारा श्रीराम वनगमन स्थल के रूप में रामाराम को सालों पहले चिन्हित किया गया है।

मुख्य सचिव श्री मंडल ने रामाराम प्रवास के दौरान यहां स्थित प्राचीन मंदिर में पहुंचकर रामारामीन चिटमिटीन मां के दर्शन किए और उनसे प्रदेश की खुशहाली और समृद्धि का आशीर्वाद लिया।
